Objective: Develop shading skills by rendering a series of spheres.
Explore aspects of composition, including balance, positive & negative space.
Create an all-over pattern to address negative space between spheres.
Pattern can be abstract, geometric, organic or linear. It must be repetitive.
Use a compass, or lids and other flat round objects to create your circles.
Drawing should me 8 1/2" by 11" on your 11" by 14" drawing pad.
Include 5-8 spheres in your composition, in varying sizes.
Finally, erase any smudges on border,
cover with tracing paper and sign the back.
